DIMAPUR: The statement of All Manipur Students’ Union (AMSU) made through Newmai News Network alleging the General Secretary of North-East Students’ Organisation (NESO) of making statement on June 18 in regards to Manipur State declaration of State Integrity Day has been clarified through a release issued by the Chairman, NESO, Samujjal Bhattcharjya.
This has been made in the interest of the people and also the member organization of NESO that the issues of the statement was thoroughly discussed on the July 30 Executive Meeting of the NESO at Guwahati. The meeting decided that the NESO will urge the NSF, AMSU and Manipur government to work-out a process to find out a permanent solution to solve the crisis.
The statement made by N.S.N Lotha should not be in any way reflects his personal statement and there should not be any misunderstanding, it further adds.
The NESO has urged the Manipur government to start dialogue with the agitating organizations to find out an acceptable and permanent solution so as to bring peace and unity among the people of Manipur.
