New bus stop near Old NST Kohima

The Kohima Traffic Police earmarked a new ‘Bus Stop’ near Old NST (adjacent United Traders) especially for school bus on September 13. 

K Soriso, Additional Superintendent of Police (Traffic & Protocol) Kohima told The Morung Express that the same has been done keeping in mind the safety of the school going kids as “students friendly zone.”

Meanwhile, in continuation of its mission to reach out to the public, the Road Safety Cell of Kohima Traffic Police will be visiting High school area on September 14 (Ward- 1, comprising 7 colonies) in order to sensitize the public about Road Safety issues and Traffic rules.

For this, Community Outreach Programme will take place at 4:00 PM at the Panchayat Hall, above Ruzhukhrie Govt Higher Secondary School, Kohima.
