DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 25 (MExN): A reiteration of an old promise to connect all State capitals in the Northeast except Sikkim was announced by Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee during her Rail Budget presentation for 2011-2012. The only new thing announced was that this will be done in the next seven years. The other sop for the region included a diesel locomotive center to be set up in Manipur. For Dimapur and people of Nagaland, the Railway Minister has announced a new express train called the Guwahati-Dimapur Express to be run daily.
