Riding on the back of an ever increasing market demand for commercial pick-up vehicles, Izuzu India Motors Private Limited officially launched its new model, the S-CAB Z during a ceremony held at the Flamingo Inc Dealership, Duncan Basti, Dimapur on August 31.
Termed as a ‘smart’ and versatile work-horse, it will be available in five colours, Cosmic Black, Galena Grey, Splash White, Nautilus Blue and Titanium Silver.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice President of Sale & Marketing, Isuzu Motors India, Yamazaki noted that based on the new generation of Indian customers who seek comfort, durability and innovative engineering; the new S-CAB Z has been launched to meet these expectations.
He mentioned that as a brand, they endeavour to deliver not just world-class Japanese engineering but to deliver top of the line customer service.
Meanwhile, Aditya, Regional Market and Sales stated that the reason why Dimapur was chosen in the North-east region to launch the new model was because of the strong market presence for the company along with continued customer support. “Our presence here is not only about launching a vehicle but to understand the needs of the customers and to bring the best automotive innovation,” he said.
Some of the features of the new model highlighted were the 2.5 litre Isuzu 4JA1 engine, eagle inspired chrome grille, twin-LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs and front fog lamps, leather steering wheel, all new 6-spoke wheel covers and a ‘keyless entry’ segment feature.
In addition, its safety features will also come with air-bags for both driver and co-driver, speed sensing door-locks, brake over drive system, collapsible steering column and under-body steel protection for the drive-train.
The introductory launch price for the S-CAB Z will begin at Rs 14, 99, 910 (ex showroom).
Founded in 1916 during the early days of the automobile culture in Japan, Isuzu Motors has operations in 25 countries along with a nation-wide presence in over 50 different locations in India as well.
