New Noklak DC takes charge

Noklak, July 31 (MExN): Three days after the Nagaland government’s department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (P&AR) notified the transfer of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Noklak Reny Wilfred, a reception programme for the new DC, Hiazu Meru was held on July 31 at DC’s Conference Hall, Noklak. Speaking during the programme, Hiazu Meru said that, if the district administration along with all departments, civil societies and all stakeholders join hands, then the district will reach greater heights.

The new DC stated that Noklak being the newest district in Nagaland, there will be a lot of challenges, and urged everyone to be united and work together to overcome the challenges. Meru sought cooperation from all departments, NGOs, churches and people of the district. He assured that he would do his best during his stay in Noklak.
