Mokokchung, November 11 (MExN): The official handing and taking over programme of the newly formed Fazl Ali College Students’ Union (FACSU) for the session 2021-22 was held on November 10 at the college conference hall.
The programme, which was chaired by Dr Imliwati Longkumer, started with the Vice-Principal R Arenla Aier welcoming the gathering and congratulating the new FACSU Executive Council, a press release from the FAC Information and Publicity Cell.
Tzulensa (outgoing General Secretary) and Lanutangit (newly elected General Secretary) delivered short speeches on behalf of their respective teams while the official introduction of the new FACSU team and the formality of handing and taking over was conducted by Mesutoba Ao (Convenor, Students’ Advisory Committee, FAC), the release stated.
The newly elected team of the Students’ Union were briefed on the upcoming NAAC Peer team visit to the college by Dr Lanurenla (IQAC Convenor) while orientation on the FACSU Constitution was given by Nukshimoa (Member, Students’ Advisory Committee, FAC). Dr Aotemshi pronounced a special prayer for the new team of FACSU, it added.
