Dimapur, February 10 (MExN): The Dimapur Police today informed that the DMC Market cum parking facility at New Market has been completed and shall be operational shortly. Therefore, in order to ensure the smooth and proper flow of traffic the following one- way traffic regulations are being put into place with effect from February 13.
A press release from the Dimapur Police informed that all vehicles proceeding towards New Market from NL Road side shall enter only through the market area and shall exit towards GS Road only. Parking for vehicles entering from NL Road is only permitted below the newly constructed overhead parking facility where specific parking locations for 2 wheelers and 4 wheelers will be earmarked.
Meanwhile, 2 wheel vehicles proceeding towards New Market from Dhobinala side shall enter only through the newly constructed overhead parking facility and shall exit towards Nyamo Lotha Road (NL Road) only. Parking for vehicles entering from Dhobinala side is only permitted on the newly constructed parking facility. Parking for 4-wheelers will be strictly prohibited from army supply police point towards New Market entrance.
