New tubewell inaugurated at Sishunu village

Kohima, January 29 (MExN): A new tubewell constructed by Department of Geology and Mining, Government of Nagaland at Sishunu village, Tseminyu sub-division Kohima district was inaugurated on January 25 by Director of Geology & Mining Department Wanthang Wanth. In his inaugural speech, Wanth stated that Geology and Mining is nodal department to explore underground water for industrial and domestic purposes, a press release from Sishunu village council informed. He advised the villagers to handle the tubewell properly as instructed by technician for durability of the machine. A folk song was presented by the Sishunu villagers. Pastor SBC Wachu Kath led the function, while the invocation was pronounced by Associate Pastor Mehaimo Kath.


Short Speeches were given by department official, chairman Sishunu Village Council Joel Kath, President Kandi Public Union John Kath and vote of thanks by Deacon Board Chairman Lashiithong Apon and benediction by Visiting Pastor Keyalo Kath.
