Dimapur, May 24 (MExN): A press release from the General Secretary, Chakhroma GB Union Atso Gwizan has informed that The Chakhroma Gaon Burah Union has convened its Annual conference on May 26 at Sovima Village Council Hall, 10.00 am. The Union has requested all members under its jurisdiction to attend the program.
AR informs on medical camp
Kohima, May 24 (MExN): A civil aid medical camp will be conducted at Community hall Kezo basa village, Chakabama, Kohima for Kezo basa, Kezoma, Kezocha, Mitelephe, Kezo town, Kedima, Sakhabama and nearby villages on 25 May, 9 am onward under the aegis of Trinetra Division, Security Forces. Col C Konwer, PRO, AR has informed through a press release informed that free medicines, immunization of children and awareness capsule on prevention and control of lifestyle diseases will be provided. The release has also requested patients to carry previous treatment card if any along with them for the camp.
Leadership/teachers training cancelled
Dimapur, May 24 (MExN): NEI VBS Director, H Hammei Büchemhü has in a press release informed all the churches that the 19th Leadership/Teachers Training Programme organized by VBS Christian Education Ministries and scheduled to be held at DBC Mt. Miracles from June 7-10, 2018 has been cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances.
Mkg’s citizenry volunteers for Himalayan Cleanup Campaign
MOKOKCHUNG, MAY 24 (MExN): Mokokchung will also be part of the upcoming Himalayan Cleanup Campaign that will be organised across 12 Himalayan states of India on May 26. As per a press release, the Clean Mokokchung Campaign group will spearhead the event in Mokokchung town. While informing that the meeting point will be the main Police (Traffic) Point at 6:00 am, it stated that the event will touch will take place across the town. Soliciting the support of the town’s citizenry, it added that the Mokokchung Town Baptist Church Youth Department, Mokokchung Police, Ao Students Union, Mokokchung Press Club, Mokokchung Motorcycle Association, Christ Church, Christian Crossroad Ministry, Lydia Ministry and Alcoholic Anonymous, Mokokchung Town have already come forward to take part in the Cleanup Campaign. Volunteers will cover the Old Town Hall area, MMC Shopping Complex area, Police Point area, the stretch of road that leading to Police station 1 and Yongpang Market to Rotary Junction.
