Solar street light at subsidized rate

Kohima, May 25 (MExN): The Directorate of New & Renewable Energy informed all the VDB/ VC/GB’s interested to avail solar street light at subsidized rate are asked to submit application, mentioning the numbers of solar street light as per requirement to the Directorate on any working days on or before June 30.  

Lakhuti Students Union informs

Dimapur, May 25 (MExN): Office of the Lakhuti Students Union (LSU) has informed successful candidates of HSLC and HSSLC in the recently declared NBSE result to submit xerox copies of their marksheets to the LSU office by June 20 or send through 7085553502 (Whatsapp).  

Excise personnel seize contraband

Dimapur, May 25 (MExN): The Narcotic Excise personnel at Khuzama Inter-state Excise Check gate seized a total of 170 kgs of contraband ganja from a tat Mobile bearing regd. No AS 25 DC 0227. In this connection the driver, Mainul Hoque (28yrs) has been arrested and penalized under NDPS Act 1989, informed a press release from Keviseto Angami, Dy Commissioner of Excise, Dimapur.  

AR recovers contraband items

Dimapur, May 25 (MExN): Assam Rifles of Red Shield Division along with police in a joint operation apprehended Seiminthang Tuboi on May 19. A press release from PRO, Assam rifles informed that Opium weighing 2.341 kgs and opium seeds weighing 22.240 kgs were recovered from his residence. The individual along with the seized items recovered has been handed over to Churachandpur Police Station, the release added.  

CEDOK to felicitate students

Dimapur, May 25 (MExN): Commission for Education, Diocese of Kohima (CEDOK) will be facilitating rank holders and subject toppers of all major subjects of HSLC and HSSLC examination from Catholic schools along with selected teachers for their meritorious service on May 26, 12:30 pm at Carmel Higher Secondary School, Chekiye 4th mile Dimapur. A press release from Rev Fr Jacob Charalel, Secretary, Commission for Education, Diocese of Kohima has invited all selected teachers, rank holders and subject toppers from catholic schools and parents. Temjen Imna Along, Minister, Higher & Technical Education, Nagaland, Rev Dr James Thoppil, Bishop of Kohima and Charles Nosazol, Addl. Development Commissioner, Nagaland will grace the occasion and give away the awards, the release also added.  

BJP 17th Chizami Mandal resolves

DIMAPUR, MAY 25 (MExN): The BJP 17th Chizami Mandal in a meeting held with the village unit office bearers and senior party workers on May 24 at Sakraba Town Hall resolved to uphold the pre-poll alliance of NDPP & BJP in letter and in spirit to strengthen the leadership of Neiphiu Rio, Chief Ministers and Y.
