Refreshers training for panel lawyer

Kohima, May 27 (MExN): The Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA) is organizing a two day long refreshers training for panel lawyers from May 29 to 30 at ATI Kohima. Justice LS Jamir, Judge Gauhati Court and executive chairman NSLSA will grace the inaugural function on May 29 at 9:00 AM. Keynote address will be delivered by NSLSA member secretary Mezivolu T.  

Hindu Yuva Sanga invite entries

Dimapur, May 27 (MExN): Hindu Yuva Sanga has announced its 5th Open Drawing Competition cum Felicitation Programme to the Merit Holders of HSLC and HSSLC, 2018 in June 17. The drawing competition is divided into 5 categories: category 1- class A and B, Category 2- Class 1to 3, Category 3- Class 4-6, Category 4- class 7-9, Category 5-class 10 and above. The competition will be held at Ramjanaki Higher Secondary School from 9 am onwards and the prize giving ceremony will start from 4 pm, followed by the felicitation of the toppers. Registration for drawing competition is open and interested participants can register by contacting the phone numbers: 9774745422/8787487653/7005576082. Forms can also taken from the Hindu Yuva Sanga Office, SF-12, Millennium Market, Old Daily Market and Paul's Villa, Dhobinala, Dimapur on payment of Rs. 100. The last date for registration is June 10.  

KYO and KWB condemns

Kohima, May 27 (MExN): The Kezieke Welfare Board and Kezieke Youth Organisation has strongly condemned the brutal assault on a Naga girl by one Baharul Islam and his accomplice, Mainul Haque in Kohima town on May 20. A press release from the president KYK, Neibazotuo Sorhie and Info & Publicity Secy Neidi James Dzüvichü stated that the case has been registered at Women Cell, North Police Station. The release also requested the authority concerned to handle the case with all seriousness and award befitting punishment to the culprits involved.  

Medziphema church youths conduct clean drive

Medziphema, May 27 (MExN): In accordance with the call to "Beat Plastic Pollution" as enshrined to be a World Environment concern, the Youth Department of Baptist Church 'A' Medziphema Town (BC'A'MT) undertook a cleanliness drive in and around Local Ground, Medziphema, on Mayn 26 in twine with the "The Himalayan Cleanup" day. A press release release stated that Kenino Makritsu and Vikhilie Terhüja coordinated the Cleanup campaign. The organizers also distributed local-made paper bags to nearby shopkeepers as a step towards discouraging use of plastic bags.
