NNC to observe 66th Naga Plebiscite Day Kohima, May 11 (MExN): The Naga National Council (NNC) has informed that it will be observing the 66th Anniversary of Naga Voluntary Plebiscite Day on May 16, 10:00 am at Peace Hall, Chedema. A press release from Acüyi Vadeo, Joint Secretary, NNC informing this has invited all to participate on this “historic day of our Nation”. It has also requested all Regions/Regional Councils to observe this historic day in their respective Regions.     Governor’s award for HSLC & HSSLC Toppers Kohima, May 11 (DIPR): The function for presentation of the Governor's Award to the Toppers and felicitation of Rank Holders of the HSLC and HSSLC Examinations 2017 by the Governor of Nagaland, P.B. Acharya will be held on May 26 at the Durbar Hall, Raj Bhavan, Kohima at 11:00 am. The Top twenty ranked students of HSLC Examination 2017 and Top Ten ranked students of the 3 (three) streams of HSSLC Examination 2017 and the respective heads of institutions from where they passed, along with one parent of the student have been invited to attend the function. Further, all the Rank Holders have been informed to attend the function in their respective school uniforms. All invitees must reach the venue by 10:30 am and be seated by 10:45 am.     International Nurses Day today Kohima, May 11 (MExN): The Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI) Local Branch Kohima will be observing International Nurses Day on May 12 at 12:00 noon at the DBT Conference Hall, Kohima under the theme “Nursing: A voice to lead – achieving the sustainable development goals.” Dr. Neikhrielie Khiamia-o, Managing Director Naga Hospital Authority Kohima will grace the occasion as the chief guest. All TNAI members working in different health centres under Kohima district have been invited to the function.
