CBI registers case against 6 for cheating bank New Delhi, June 10 (UNI): The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a case against six directors of a private company for allegedly cheating a foreign bank here. "A case was registered against Sanjay Jain, Rajiv Jain, Rohit Choudhary, Sanjeev Agarwal, Rajeev Jain and Kamal Kant Sharma (Directors of Surya Vinayak Industries Ltd), Surya Vinayak Hospitalities Ltd and others on the complaint of a Development Bank of Singapore Limited, New Delhi (a foreign Bank) under section 120 B, 420, 467, 468, 471 of Indian Penal Code on the allegations of cheating the Bank to the tune of around Rs 122.49 crore between 2007-12," CBI said in an statement today. The CBI said that the complainant alleged the private company was in the business of manufacturing of perfumery compounds and trading of agro commodities and the directors arranged companies to show bogus sale and purchase of commodities. The CBI said that searches have been conducted today at the premises of accused in Delhi. " The private company had also cheated the consortium member banks for a total amount of around Rs 2240 crore. Four accused including directors and others of the private company had been arrested by CBI on April 11 and presently, they are in judicial custody. So far, 6 cases have been registered," it stated.   Centre launches 'SATH' to improve health sector New Delhi, June 10 (IANS): With an aim to transform the country's health sector, the Narendra Modi government on Saturday launched the Sustainable Action for Transforming Human Capital (SATH) programme. According to an official statement, the SATH programme, which aims to identify and build three future "role model" states for health systems, will be implemented by the NITI Aayog along with private companies selected through a competitive bidding process.  The NITI Aayog has invited all states and Union Territories to participate in the competitive programme, it said.  The role model states would be chosen through a process - expression of interest, presentations by the states and assessment of commitment to health sector reforms, it said, adding that final selection would then be done through further evaluations and objective assessment of criteria affecting potential for impact and likelihood of success.  Sixteen states have expressed their interest to be a part of the programme and 14 of them have made their presentations to the NITI Aayog, it added.   Misleading campaigns on social media instigate Kashmiri youths: Gen Rawat New Delhi, June 10 (UNI): Army Chief General Bipin Rawat today said the misleading campaigns over the various social media platforms were behind instigating the Kashmiri youth against the country and the army. 'The army was in Kashmir to protect the people and not to harm or have any conflict with them' said the army chief while he was at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Uttarakhand to attend the 140th passing out parade of the Gentleman Cadets who were to be commissioned into service on completion of their course.  Generel Rawat said that efforts were continuously being made by the army to get the youth on the right track and added that situation had improved. The army chief urged the newly inducted army officers to be prepared for the traditional as well as new challenges that were to come in their way. General Rawat stressed upon induction of more women into the army as they would prove to be strategically important for situations such as when terrorists use women and children as shields. A total of 490 Gentleman Cadets, including 67 from 10 other countries, got commissioned in the Army as they completed their course in the academy.
