BSNL network disrupted in Mkg
Dimapur, October 12 (MExN): The BSNL Divisional Engineer S. Dhanbir Singh has informed that its optical fiber cables are frequently damaged by the road construction party in the Mokokchung-Changki-Mariani route causing network disturbances. In this regard, the customers are requested to bear the inconvenience caused till a permanent arrangement is made for a smooth service.
Excise squad seizes alcohol
Dimapur, October 12 (MExN): Acting on a tip-off, the Excise (Mobile Squad) special surveillance team on October 11 raided a house near highway area and recovered 1352 bottles of assorted IMFL and beer. The owner of the consignment identified as one Bilal was arrested and booked under relevant section of NLTP ACT' 89. The seized articles were deposited in Mobile Squad Malkhana Dimapur for destruction, informed a press note from Katoho Sumi SP (M.S)
GHS New Market Kohima
Kohima, October 12 (MExN): The newly constructed building of Government High School, New Market, Kohima, will be inaugurated on October 27 at 10 AM with Er. Kevisekho Kruse, Retd Chief Engineer, PHED as the chief guest. The dedicatory prayer for the new school building will be done by Zhabu Kuotsu, Pastor, UCRC Kohima, informed in a press release issued by the school’s organising committee Convenor, Zerüüzo Suohu. Highlights of the inaugural programme includes - welcome address by Kuotsuwhelie Kehie, chairman NMAP, while a brief history of the school will be presented by secretary, NMAP. The students of GHS New Market will present a song, while the vote of thanks will be tendered by Kikatemsu, assistant headmaster, GHS New Market, Kohima.
