ECI appoints observer for Kohima district
Kohima, November 3 (DIPR): In connection with the ongoing Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Roll w.r.t. 01.01.18 as the qualifying date, the Election Commission of India has appointed Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Alan Gonmai as Observer for Kohima district. Any elector, political party representative etc., may contact the Observer at 9436434443 for any issues relating to the aforementioned exercise. This was informed by the Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Kohima, Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS.
BJP 33 Suruhuto/Asuto holds meeting
Zunheboto, November 3 (MExN): The executive meeting of BJP 33 Suruhuto/Asuto assembly constituency was held on October 24 at Suruhuto Town. According to a press release, the BJP mandal president, Z Tokhevi highlighted that the party has been working hard for the development of the area. He also urged the party workers for enrolment of new members in the BJP from the area. Tokhevi asserted that the BJP workers will bring development through the party.
IMA Nagaland branch elects new office bearers
Kohima, November 3 (MExN): Indian Medical Association (IMA), Nagaland State branch elected its new office bearers during the Annual General Meeting at Hotel Japfü, Kohima on October 28.
