Agri department to launch website and mobile app today

Kohima, November 14 (MExN): The Department of Agriculture, Nagaland will be launching its official website and mobile app (Nagaland Local Plant) at the conference hall of Directorate of Agriculture, Kohima on November 15 between 12:00-12:30 pm. Principal Secretary & APC to the Government of Nagaland, Imkonglemba Ao, IAS, will address the function.  

Electoral Roll Observer in Mokokchung

Mokokchung, November 14 (MExN): In view of the special summary revision of Photo Electoral Rolls w.r.t 01/01/2018 as the qualifying date, the Electoral Roll Observer for Mokokchung district, Alan Gonmei, Secretary Horticulture arrived in Mokokchung on November 14. The observer will stay in Mokokchung for few days, according to a press release from Alila Chang, Assistant Election Officer, Mokokchung. Therefore, the public have been informed that for any query regarding the Special Summary Revision, one can meet him at Commissioner’s Rest House.  

NSCN (IM) mourns

Dimapur, November 14 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has mourned the demise of C. Leshei, Leacy (Khiamniungan Region) on November 12 in Dimapur after a prolonged illness. He enrolled for the national service on October 5, 1999. It further mourned the demise of Vikali Yeptho Sumi, Section Officer, Council of Nagalim Churches (under Union Territory) on November 13 after a prolonged illness. Vikali joined the national service on August 27, 2012. A condolence message from NSCN (IM) MIP remembered the two as down to earth and stated they remained dedicated to the national service until their demise. “Their selfless service & sacrifice rendered to the Naga nation shall ever be cherished with pride & admiration,” it added. The NSCN (IM) extended sympathy and condolence to the bereaved families of the two departed national workers and prayed to God to grant their souls eternal peace and rest.  

Rongmei church visits hospital patients

Dimapur, November 14 (MExN): The Dimapur Rongmei Baptist Church, K Sanchu colony conducted annual gospel outreach for the patients ailing from various kinds of sicknesses at Dimapur Civil Hospital on November 12. The team had a fellowship with 79 patients and prayed for their spiritual and bodily healing, said a press release from the pastor of the church, Meingandai Gangmei. "We are blessed that we could extend our fervent prayer of healing with a small token of gifts to each patient," it stated. The church expressed belief that the cry for their healing in faith will not go in vain and the grace of Christ will touch every patient and heal them.
