KMC informs on hoardings
Kohima, November 29 (MExN): Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has requested all the Government departments/ private agencies displaying hoarding boards/ kiosk within Kohima Municipality to renew the permit within November 30. It was also informed that any agencies/companies willing to display advertisement within Kohima Municipality during the festive season should obtain prior permission from the KMC Administrator.
LBA women department conference
Peren, November 29 (MExN): Liangmai Baptist Association Women Department under LBA will hold its 33rd Annual Session from December 1 to 3 at Baptist Church, Nchangram village in Peren. Head Master, BHS, Tening, Kenkhambo, Youth Pastor, Dimapur, Kawi, Pastor & President, LBA, Nagaland, N. Silubo, and Executive Secretary, LBA, Rev. Kitanwi will be the resource persons. District Welfare Officer, Kohima, Bino Newmai will impart knowledge on Management and Child Care. The Organizing Committee has requested all the churches under LBA to participate in the annual session and encourage the younger generation. All affiliated churches have been requested to come with one special item for presentation at the programme.
CM offers condolences
Kohima, November 29 (MExN): Chief Minister TR Zeliang has expressed grief and pain over the demise of Brigadier (Retd) Kalyan Kumar Roy Choudhury, Director of Sainik Welfare and Resettlement, Nagaland. He passed away at Naga Hospital, Kohima on November 28. “Late KK Roy Choudhury had an impeccable record of service and was a man of extensive administrative experience, maturity and fluency with languages,” stated a condolence message from the CM. With 36 years of experience in the Indian Army and having attended programmes in Washington DC, Singapore and China, he contributed immensely towards the positive growth of Sainik Welfare and Resettlement in the State, it added. The CM along with his family members extended condolences to the bereaved family members.
