KDCC dissolves ACCCs Kohima, February 5 (MExN): Kohima District Congress Committee (KDCC) has dissolved all the 7 Assembly Constituency Congress Committees (ACCCs) with immediate effect for re-organisation of the party in all the ACCCs of the district. This has been done in pursuance of the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) letter NPCC/Admin-13/15 dated February 3, 2016, according to a press release from Kevi Vizo, President, KDCC.     Parliamentary Secretaries attend annual ICAR meeting in Delhi Kohima, February 5 (MExN): Parliamentary Secretary for Veterinary and Animal Husbandry, S. Chuba Longkumer and Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture, Dr. Benjongliba along with Commissioner and Secretary MK Mero attended the 87th annual general meeting of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) on February 4 at AP Shinde Symposium Hall, NASC Complex, New Delhi. The meeting was addressed by Radha Mohan Singh, Union Minister for Agricultural Farmer’s Welfare and President, ICAR.     TSUK appeals to apprehend assaulters   Kohima, February 5 (MExN): The Tikhir Students’ Union Kohima (TSUK) has appealed to the State government and law enforcing agencies to apprehend at the earliest the people who assaulted a Tikhir woman in Shamator Town recently and award befitting punishment as per the law. A press note from TSUK President James Khiungjumong and General Secretary Akam P further condemned the incident and expressed shock that the incident happened despite security personnel being deployed for the security of the public.     Western Yimchunger Hoho meeting Dimapur, February 5 (MExN): Western Yimchunger Hoho has convened an emergency meeting on February 10, 9:00 am at its office (Treasure) at Old Showuba, Dimapur. Therefore, all the office bearers of Western Yimchunger Hoho and pastors along with two deacons (under Western Yimchunger Jurisdiction) have been directed to attend the meeting positively.
