DC Dimapur orders not to charge money for LLINs Dimapur, April 2 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, Kesonyu Yhome has issued an order stating that no individual/official is permitted to collect/charge any amount of money for Long Lasting Insecticidal Nets (LLINs) under Dimapur district. The order has been issued as per the directive of the Government and the joint resolution of the Urban Vector Borne Disease Control Scheme (UVBDCS) and the GB Union Dimapur on March 30. AR apprehend NSCN (IM) cadre Dimapur, April 2 (MExN): 37 Assam Rifles apprehended an NSCN (IM) cadre on March 27 in Chumukedima during an operation, which was conducted based on confirmed information about NSCN (IM) cadre attempting to sell a weapon in the area. One .32 pistol with two live rounds and one mobile phone were recovered from the accused identified as Shikuto Awomi (41). On spot questioning, the apprehended cadre admitted himself to be a Captain of NSCN (IM) with No 11397. The cadre further confessed that he was attempting to sell the recovered weapon to a potential customer, the release added. The apprehended cadre and recovered weapons were handed over to police the same day.
