Kevijau Village Council meeting Dimapur, April 18 (MExN): The Kevijau Village Council has convened its General Meeting on April 23 at 10:00 Am at its Council Hall. All concerned citizen above 18 are requested to attend the meeting without fail. This was informed in a press release issued by Er. Nizal Tepa Secretary, Kevijau Village Council.  

  NCRC Sumi Theological Fellowship Dimapur, April 18 (MExN): All the executives and organising committee of the upcoming NCRC Sumi Theological Fellowship silver jubilee are requested to attend the meeting without fail, which is scheduled to be held on April 20 at 9:00 am at the banker's residence.     PHK conference cum Pochury Day Kohima, April 18 (MExN): The Pochury Hoho Kohima will hold its 23rd general conference cum Pochury Day on April 21 at Ura Academy Hall, Kohima from 11: AM onwards. Ex-MLA Khuosatho Nyusou will be the speaker of the day. This was stated in a release issued by S. Peter Trakha, general secretary PHK.     NDRF conduct awareness prog in Zbto Zunheboto, April 18 (DIPR): A community awareness programme organised by 12th Battalion of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) was conducted on April 18 at Town Hall, Zunheboto. According to Assistant Commandant, NDRF, the programme is organized to sensitize people about disaster management, its effects and consequences and to help people when the disaster occurs. ADC, Zunheboto, Nungsangmenla Imchen in her brief address asked every participant to spread awareness about its techniques, Do's and Don’ts to their loved ones, friends and neighbours. The programme was attended by SDO(C), Zunheboto, Shanavas IAS, Government employees and students of Government Higher Secondary School, Zunheboto.     NMDA to host 2nd North Zonal meeting of AIOCD Dimapur, April18 (MExN): The 2nd North East Zonal meeting of All India organisation of Chemist and Drugists (AIOCD) will be held at Dimapur on April 24. Geoffrey Yaden editor of Nagaland Post will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. The meeting will be attended by the office bearers and members of all the North Eastern states including Sikkim to discuss about various problems faced in Medical fraternity in the North East and deliberate on all the possible ways and means to improve Pharmaceutical trade in the region including the impact on the business after proposed ban on 344 FDC drugs. General Secretary NMDA (org) Basu Damani in a press release requested all the state office bearers and Executive members of NMDA to attend the meeting positively.     NVFAA emergency meeting on April 22 Dimapur, April 18 (MExN): The Nagaland Veterinary Field Assistants’ Association has informed all the district executive members that an emergency meeting will be held on April 22 at 10:00 am at the residence of NVFAA President S. Tokiho Swu at Burma Camp, Vety Colony, Dimapur. NVFAA General Secretary Yangthungo Lotha in a press release informed all the executive members to attend the meeting without fail. The concerned District Executive members are to collect the membership fee and other dues and submit it during the meeting.     PCC Alumni Association get-together Dimapur, April 18 (MExN): The first ever get-together of Alumni Association Patkai Christian College, Nagaland University, Lumami campus is scheduled on April 20 at 5:30 pm at Threzaru Boys Hostel common room, NU. Class of 2014 President Lamtinneng Haokip has requested all the concerned members irrespective of ages and batches to attend the programme positively. Members are also requested to come with alumni shirt.
