NRMSATA Phek unit supports Kohima, July 8 (MExN): The Nagaland Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan Teachers Association (NRMSATA) 2015-16, Phek Unit held a meeting on July 7 at Pfutsero. The meeting extended fullest support to the stand of NRMSATA 2015-16 Central Forum which served a 7-day ultimatum to the Department of School Education (RMSA) to release the pending five months’ salary from February to June 2016. The meeting further urged the state Government to pay attention to the demand of NRMSATA Central Forum and fulfill the same at the earliest.     Training on hazards of tobacco Kohima, July 8 (DIPR): Training on hazards of tobacco and COTPA 2003 for all the Enforcement Officers and Flying Squad Officials on tobacco control will be held at Conclave Conference Hall, L.C.S Building near Ao Church Kohima on July 12 at 11am. All the members concerned have been requested to attend the training positively. This was informed by the District Nodal Officer (NTCP) Kohima, Dr. Arenla Walling.  

  Workshop on Kuki language and culture Dimapur, July 8 (MExN): Seminar cum workshop on Kuki language and culture organized by Kuki Literature board Nagaland and sponsored by Kuki Students union Chumukedima is scheduled on July 12 and 13 at Mount Mary Higher Secondary school Chumukedima. Resource persons are LL Kuki, Rev. T Hangsing, Hatjaphal, Haokam Singsit, Satlun Hangsing, L Chongloi and Thangkhokai Gangte. KSU Chumukedima has requested all members to attend the programme. The Union also invited students from various unions under KSO Nagaland, seniors, parents and well-wishers to attend the workshop.
