YWOK expels one from Kohima over theft Kohima, July 11 (MExN): The Yorübami Welfare Organisation Kohima (YWOK) has expressed shock over the July 2 incident in Kohima, where one Khone Lohe had committed a theft. Following the reported crime, the YWOK in its meeting held on July 9 resolved and expelled Khone Lohe from Kohima with immediate effect vide YWOK standing resolution No. IV(Four), informed a press release issued by YWOK Chairman, Lhüvesayi Lohe and General Secretary, Sekhoyi Nyekha. The organization condemned the act of robbery committed by the accused who was caught by Tsütuonuomia Youth Organisation of Kohima Village. Meanwhile, YWOK expressed regret for tarnishing the image of Yorübami in particular and the Chakhesang community at large.     KDCC holds meeting Kohima, July 11 (MExN): The Kohima District Congress Committee (KDCC) held its executive meeting on July 11 at its office. Kevi Vizo, President KDCC, who chaired the meeting, briefed the house on the RTI filed in some departments. He informed that the reports will be in public domain very soon, according to a press release from KDCC General Secretary, Abalie Medoze. The meeting also entrusted KDCC vice presidents in-charge of constituencies to organise an interactive programme with the ACCCs to have better understanding and to strengthen the party. As resolved earlier, the KDCC will be launching the tour of constituencies at the earliest, it was informed.     Phek DPDB meeting held Phek, July 11 (DIPR): The Phek District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) today re-affirmed opening of Vijaya Bank in Pfutsero. During the monthly meeting held at DC’s conference hall under the chairmanship of DC & Vice Chairman DPDB Phek, Muroho Chotso, the board also decided to send reminder to the state authority for immediate establishment of Police outpost at Phokhungri. Soil and water conservation department highlighted the departmental activities. Other agenda discussed in the meeting included poor BSNL service in Phek Town, function of ATMA, and change of nomenclature of Ura Club Chizami Town to Global Trust Club.     9 Assam Rifles conduct medical camp Dimapur, July 11 (MExN): A total of 197 patients were treated during a free medical camp conducted by 9 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North)/ HQ 5 Sector Assam Rifles at Pfutseromi and Tsiese Basa Villages on July 2 and 3 respectively, an AR press note informed. The camp was held with an aim to provide treatment to the local populace of Pfutseromi and Tsiese Basa Villages and adjoining areas where requisite medical facilities are not available, it added.     Boys trained by IGAR (N) clear recruitment exam Kohima, July 11 (MExN): 76 Naga boys sponsored and trained by units/sectors of IGAR (North) successfully cleared the recruitment examination of Indian Army held recently in Dimapur. Around 700 boys were trained by IGAR (North) from all districts across Nagaland, informed a press release from PRO, Assam Rifles. The successful candidates include 41 boys from Jalukie, Dimapur and Medziphema region, 28 boys from Wokha, Kohima, Phek district and 7 boys from Zunheboto alone.
