Roads in Dimapur Town named Dimapur, July 15 (MExN): Three stretches of roads in Dimapur Town have been designated names. According to a press release from Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, the roads are: Dhobinallah to Thahekhu junction – Dr. Hokishe Sema Road; ADC Court to City Tower junction – Tajen Ao Road; City Tower junction to Tragopan junction – I Vikheshe Sema Road. All shops/business establishments along the stretch of the said roads have been notified to re-designate their signboards accordingly. Non-compliance with the order within 30 days from the date of issue of the order will invite penalty, cautioned the release.     Schools in Zunheboto informed Zunheboto, July 15 (MExN): The Deputy District Education Officer (DDEO), Zunheboto has informed all the Principals and Headmasters of both government and private high schools under Zunheboto district that the District Level Science Seminar 2016 on the topic ‘Pulses for sustainable food security: Prospects and challenges’ will be held on August 30, 10:00 am at Cornerstone Higher Secondary School Zunheboto. In this regard, all the Principals and Headmasters have been informed to submit names of two participants from each school to the District Education Officer’s office latest by August 10 without fail. In a separate press release, the DDEO also informed all the Principals and Headmasters of schools (both private & government) in Zunheboto district to collect Teacher’s District Award forms within July 31 and submit the same on or before August 16.     Hazadisa Village Council informs Dimapur, July 15 (MExN): The chairman and executives of Hazadisa village under Dhansiripar Block, Dimapur have elected a new Head GB, Manen Langthasa, who will replace the previous Head GB, Babul Nunisa. Therefore, any information, consultation or matters that require the office of the Head GB of the village will now be solely taken up by Manen Langthasa, informed a press release issued by chairman and executive members of Hazadisa Village Council. The village council has also intimated the same to the SDO (Civil) Dhansiripar for information and necessary action.     AR holds medical camp in Ukha, Tuensang Dimapur, July 13 (MExN): Altogether 278 patients, comprising 72 males, 122 females and 84 children, were treated and given free medicines during a medical camp at Ukha villge in Tuensang District on July 11. The camp was organized by 40 Assam Rifles and its paramedical staff treated the patients, informed an Assam Rifles press note. As there is no hospital in the vicinity, locals from the far flung border area also turned up for treatment, it added.
