
Assault condemned Dimapur, September 30 (MExN): The Rengma Community Padum Pukhuri Dimapur and Kandi Union Dimapur have condemned the assault on Dimu Mesen, who is a member of both the organisations. According to condemnation notes issued separately by the two organizations, on September 27 around 10:00 pm, Dimu Mesen was assaulted at his residence by one Inato Chopy, temporarily residing in Toluvi village, Dimapur “without any reason or rhyme.” The two bodies have condemned “such anti-social activities disturbing the law and order in the society.” Four BJP members suspended Dimapur, September 30 (MExN): The Nagaland State BJP President, Visasolie Lhoungu has suspended the following BJP members for “breach of discipline and willful defiance of party order” as per the constitutional provisions: Khuvishe Sema, former District BJP President of Zunheboto; Chumbemo Odyuo, State Council Member of 37th A/C; Achumth Jami, State Council Member of 39th A/C; Tsenthungo Kikon, State Council Member of 40th A/C. Free-national integration camps Dimapur, September 30 (MExN): Free-national integration camps will be held from November 13 to 18, November 20 to 25, and December 1 to 6 in Gurgaon, Haryana, organized by Rajyoga Education and Research Foundation and Brahma Kumaris org, supported by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. Government Polytechnic Kohima students informed Kohima, September 30 (MExN): Principal of Government Polytechnic Kohima has informed students of the institute to fill up forms for the Compartmental Examination for Even Semester from October 3 to 7 without fail. The examination is tentatively scheduled to commence on November 15, 2016. The Principal, Vipulhou Lhoungu in a press release stated that no extension of dates and complaints shall be entertained after the deadline. Online scholarship application extended till Oct 30 Kohima, September 30 (MExN): Directorate of Higher Education, Nagaland has informed all the scholarship beneficiaries that the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India has extended the last date for online scholarship application up to October 30. Training cum U-Dise Day at Mon Mon, September 30 (DIPR): Training cum U-DISE Day was held at Badminton stadium, Mon on September 30 with EAC Mon Sardar, Relise Sangtam as the special guest. The programme was organised by SSA & RMSA, Mon district. Speaking to the gathering of Principals, Headmasters and teaching staff, Relise Sangtam requested them to be a part of the Unified District Information System for Education (U-DISE) by giving extra efforts. Parents, teachers oriented on CWSN Peren, September 30 (MExN): The Inclusive Education for Disabled at Secondary Stage (IEDSS - RMSA) organised an orientation programme on Children with Special Needs (CWSN) in Peren district from September 23 to 29. The programme was held in the four different blocks, namely Peren, Jalukie, Tening and Athibung, for parents of CWSN and teachers of the different GHS and GHSS.
