Book launch at Crossword

Kohima, April 11 (MExN): A book will be launched at Crossword Kohima on April 14. ‘Sweet Station, Anyone Can Bake’ by Jenny Kath Thong will be released by Limawati Ao, Director for Information & Public Relations. The program will be chaired by Theyiesinuo Keditsu, Assistant Professor, Kohima College Kohima and publisher’s note will be delivered by Vishu Rita Krocha, Publisher Pen Thrill Publication House. Prayer for the program will be invoked by Dr. Kenny Tsela, Pastor, Rengma Baptist Church Kohima.  

NSCN (IM) mourns

Hebron, April 11 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has mourned the demise of Capt (Retd) Mingshamang Raiping, Steering Committee Member (Status) on April 10 at his native village Tashar in Wung Tangkhul Region. Raiping, born on May 14, 1934, joined the national service on February 14, 1964. “He was a man of principle and integrity who stood firm through thick and thin in the National struggle. His demise has brought irreparable loss to the Naga nation leaving huge vacuum which shall be difficult to fill. The GPRN shall always cherish the steadfast commitment and sacrificial service he had rendered his whole life for the sacred cause of the Nation,” read a condolence message from MIP, NSCN (IM). It expressed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed to God to grant eternal peace and rest to the departed soul.  

Cooperation department designates new PIO

Kohima, April 11 (DIPR): The Cooperation Department has in a notification stated that B Bumo Khiamniungan, Addl. Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Kohima as Public Information Officer (PIO) will liaise regarding Right to Information Act in respect of the Directorate of Cooperation Department.  

BJP Minority Morcha distributes utensils to fire victims

Dimapur, April 11 (MExN): The Minority Morcha officials of BJP Nagaland State and Dimapur district distributed household utensils to all the fire victims of Naharbari village on April 11. The team was led by Mukibur Rahman, president, Minority Morcha, BJP Nagaland State.
