NECU informs electrical contractors
Kohima, April 12 (MExN): The Nagaland Electrical Contractors' Union has informed all electrical contractors to renew their license at the Union Head Office in Kohima on or before April 25. The union in a press release directed the electrical contractors to submit their license along with Supervisor's and Workmen's undertakings duly signed by the Identity Card holder him/her self with challan. The union shall not forward any license with incomplete document to the Chief Electrical Inspector for renewal, the NECU stated. In this regard, the union also appealed the Chief Electrical Inspector Nagaland not to receive licenses which are not verified by the Union so as to prevent double engagement, bogus undertaking etc.
DEO Dimapur reminds schools
Dimapur, April 12 (MExN): The office of the District Education Officer Dimapur has reminded all central and private schools under Dimapur District to collect and submit the Unified District Information System for Education (UDISE) and Student Data Capture Format on or before April 16 without fail. A press release from the DEO stated that this is a mandatory process held annually throughout the country.
Mass social work in T Khel, Kohima
Kohima, April 12 (MExN): The T. Khel Peli Union and T. Khel Youth Organisation under the T. Khel Council are organizing a mass social work on Saturday, April 14 at Rutsa, Kohima. The work will involve digging and repairing of the Rutsa Dzuyie (irrigation canal) from Vurie Ru to Rutsazhagei, a press release from the two organisations informed. In this regard, all khel members are requested to reach the spot by 9:30 a.m. It also informed the men to come with Keshunei and the women with Lohe.
ATMA Tuensang, Shamator block
Shamator, April 12 (MExN): ATMA Tuensang, Shamator Block conducted training and demonstration drive for farmers at Shamator and Sangphur village. Detergent and dish-wash were given to the 32 farmers who attended the program. A new Farmers Interest Group (FIG) known as THULUN group comprising of 12 members in Sangphur village was also formed during the program.
Losatephe village inauguration
Kohima, April 12 (MExN): Rajya Sabha MP Kewezu G. Kenye will inaugurate Losatephe village under Phek district on April 24. MLA Yitachu will be the host while Phek Deputy Commissioner Shanavas C (IAS) will be the guest of honour. Greetings will be shared by Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) President Kekhwengulo Lea.
