NF Railway to run special train service between Kamakhya & AnandVihar

Dimapur, February 13 (MExN): The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to run a special train between Kamakhya and AnandVihar, to clear extra rush of passengers.

According to its Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) Sabyasachi De, train number 02525 (Kamakhya – AnandVihar) and train number 02526 (AnandVihar – Kamakhya) will run for 24 trips till July. The train from Kamakhya – AnandVihar will depart from Kamakhya Junction at 10:45 PM, every Friday from February 16 to July 26, to reach its destination of AnandVihar Terminal, every Sunday, at 8:40 AM.
Similarly, train no. 02526 (AnandVihar - Kamakhya) will depart from AnandVihar Terminal every Sunday, at 5:20 PM from February 18 to July 28 to arrive at Kamakhya Junction every Tuesday, at 3:40 AM.

“Both the trains will run via Goalpara Town, Gauripur, New Coochbehar, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar, Khagaria, Barauni, Danapur, Pt. DeenDayalUpadhaya, Aligarh Jn. & vice-versa to arrive at their respective destinations,” the CPRO mentioned.  The train will run with a coach composition of 01- 1st Class AC, 02 -AC Two Tier, 05 – AC Three Tier, 05- AC Three Tier Economy, 04- Sleeper Class and 02- General Sitting coaches with one Pantry Car.

The special train service will benefit wait listed passengers of other trains in the said route, the CRPO said. For more details of stoppages and timings of these trains, passengers can visit the IRCTC website. Moreover, passengers are requested to verify the details before undertaking their journey.
