Kohima, June 22 (MExN): The Nagaland Football Association (NFA) informed all District Football Associations concerned that the NFA will be organizing a tree plantation drive on June 23 from 11:00 AM onwards at Reiphinyü Badze, Vürie, Kohima.
This part of joining the Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) in observance of the Olympic Day and in support of the International Olympic Committee's Olympic Forest Initiative and the broader sustainability goals of the Olympic movement.
The initiative plans to plant 2036 saplings, symbolizing the commitment to environmental sustainability.
In this regard, all DFAs have been requested to join the said event with at least one representative each toward making the event a success and showing support and participation in this initiative.
This was stated in a release issued by NFA president K Neibou Sekhose and joint secretary Chenonlo Woch.
