NFHRCC, PWD (R&B) team inspects ongoing foothill road construction

DIMAPUR, JULY 1 (MExN): A team from the Nagaland Foothill Road Co-ordination Committee (NFHRCC) led by convenor Supo Jamir along with PWD (R&B) divisional officials conducted an inspection on the foothills road construction carried out by M/S Humtsoe Construction Ltd (Naganimora Division); M/S W Chingkam Phom (Tuli Division), M/S R K Construction (Longleng Division) and M/S H H Co Construction & Supplier (Mangkolemba Division) on June 27 and 28.

On spot verification, the team found that the construction works had been executed as per DPR specification with 100% completed at Naganimora Division, 75-85% executed at Tuli Division, 100% completed at Longleng Division and 75% completed at Mangkolemba Division. The uncompleted portions are expected to be completed by December 2023, a press release issued by NFHRCC informed.  A public meeting at Anaki-C, Tuli and Yajang- C were also conducted with village council forum of Anaki area and Yajang Area, Tsudikong (Tuli) joint council forum and Langpangkong road construction committee.

The remaining foothills road sectors of Baghty Division, the longest stretch covering a distance of 89-92 km in the districts will be taken up at the earliest before July 2nd week 2023, the press release stated.
