Dimapur, October 3 (MExN): The Nagaland Foothill Road Co-ordination Committee (NFHRCC) has urged upon the motorable foothills road construction contractors firm to ensure that the allocated works are completed at the earliest without compromising on the quality of works as the dry seasons were already sets in.
The NFRCC in a press release on Monday appealed to the respective village councils to extend their fullest co-operations to the contractors and the concerned departments officials till the constructions works is completed for the greater interest of the people as resolved during the last joint meeting of all the stakeholders held at the Dimapur.
Meanwhile, it acknowledged the CM, Advisor (R&B) and Department of PWD(R&B), Government of Nagaland for releasing the running bills for smooth functioning of the on-going motorable foothills road construction. It also appreciated the Young Naga Action Committee on Foothills Road for showing their maturity in tolerance on the issue of the ultimatum served to the concerned department on matters pertaining to the release of the performance based running bills to the respective contractors.
