Revises timings of Rajdhani and Capital Express
Maligaon, April 22 (MExN): The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has announced the operation of an additional pair of Summer Special trains between Anand Vihar Terminal and Jogbani to cater to the rising passenger demand during the summer of 2025.
The special trains will run for 12 trips in each direction, informed an official release.
Special Train No. 04094 (Anand Vihar Terminal – Jogbani) will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 23:55 hrs on Thursdays from April 24 to July 10, 2025, and reach Jogbani at 07:30 hrs on Saturdays. Similarly, Train No. 04093 (Jogbani – Anand Vihar Terminal) will depart from Jogbani at 09:30 hrs on Saturdays from April 26 to July 12, 2025, and reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 16:00 hrs on Sundays.
The special train will travel via Ghaziabad, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Varanasi Jn., Ballia, Chhapra Jn., Barauni Jn., Khagaria Jn., Katihar Jn., and Forbesganj, and will consist of 20 coaches in both directions.
Meanwhile, NFR has revised the timings for two major trains at Rangiya Division, effective from the journey commencing on April 28.
The adjustments have been made for Train No. 12423 Dibrugarh – New Delhi Rajdhani Express and Train No. 13247 Kamakhya – Rajendra Nagar Capital Express.
Under the revised schedule, Train No. 12423 Rajdhani Express will now arrive at Rangiya Junction at 07:38 hrs and depart at 07:40 hrs. Likewise, Train No. 13247 Capital Express will arrive at New Bongaigaon at 08:30 hrs and depart at 08:35 hrs.
