MALIGAON, AUGUST 11 (MExN): Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has cancelled four train services and rescheduled seven others amid ongoing restoration work in the Lumding–Badarpur Hill Section following settlement of railway tracks near New Harangajao station.
According to NFR, restoration work is being carried out on Line-1 and Line-2, while train operations in the section are currently being maintained through Line-3 with enhanced safety measures.
The following trains have been cancelled: 15617 Guwahati–Dullabcherra Express, commencing August 12, between Guwahati and Dullabcherra;15618 Dullabcherra–Guwahati Express, commencing August 13, between Dullabcherra and Guwahati; 15615 Guwahati–Silchar Express, commencing August 12, between Guwahati and Silchar; 15616 Silchar–Guwahati Express, commencing August 13, between Silchar and Guwahati.
Seven other services have been rescheduled. The Narangi–Agartala Express (15650) will depart Narangi at 10:30 pm on August 12, while the Agartala–Narangi Express (15649) will depart Agartala at 11:30 pm the same day.
The Guwahati–Sairang Express (15609) will depart Guwahati at 11:30 pm and the Sairang–Guwahati Express (15610) from Sairang at 9:30 pm on August 12. The Rangiya–Silchar Express (15611) will depart Rangiya at 11:30 pm, while the Silchar–Rangiya Express (15612) and Silchar–Charlapalli Express (15646) will depart Silchar at 5 am and 4:10 am respectively on August 13.
Meanwhile, Train No. 17031 Charlapalli–Agartala Express, commencing its journey on August 10, will be regulated en route suitably, the NFR stated in a statement.
