The NFR began its weeklong celebration of National Integration Week on November 19.
Maligaon, November 19 (MExN): The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) is observing Communal Harmony Week (National Integration Week) to foster and reinforce the strength of public harmony and national integration.
A press release from the NFR informed that as part of the celebration, a pledge taking ceremony was held at the Maligaon Railway HQ complex. GM/NFR, Sanjive Roy administered the pledge to all the officials present for settlement of all differences and disputes relating to religion, language, region or other political or economic grievances by peaceful and constitutional means. Similar programs were also held in the Divisions and other Railway establishments.
The observance started on November 19 and will continue till November 25.
