NFR extends special train services in light of Holi

Dimapur, March 17 (MExN): In a bid to clear the extra rush of passengers, the Northeast Frontier Railways (NFR) has decided to continue the services of weekly special train no. 01666/01665 (Rani Kamalapati - Agartala- Rani Kamalapati) for 26 trips each. According to its Chief Public Relations officer, Sabyasachi De, to facilitate the passengers during the festive season, another pair of special trains will be operated between (Anand Vihar- Jogbani- Anand Vihar) for single trip each.The service of the train no. 01665 (Rani Kamalapati – Agartala) special has been extended up-to June 27, to run on every Thursday. In return direction, the service of the train no. 01666 (Agartala – Rani Kamalapati) special has been extended up-to June 30, to run on every Sunday. In both the directions, the train will run via Ambassa, Dharmanagar, New Haflong, Guwahati, Rangiya, Kishanganj, Barauni Jn, Danapur, Mirzapur, Itarsi Jn.Simultaneously, Holi Special Train No. 04010 (Anand Vihar – Jogbani) will depart from Anand Vihar on March 26 (Tuesday) at 11:45 PM to reach Jogbani on Thursday at 05:20 AM. During its return journey train no. 04009 (Jogbani -Anand Vihar) will depart from Jogbani at 09:00 AMon March 28 (Thursday), to reach Anand Vihar on next day at 4:05 PM. The train will have AC 3-tier, sleeper class and second seating coaches for the passengers. The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available at IRCTC website and have also been notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of NF Railway. Passengers are requested to verify the details before undertaking their journey.
