
Maligaon, July 2 (MExN): NF Railway has decided to operate and extend the services of few special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers. The special train services will be extended both way and will run from Northeast towards different cities, Sabyasachi De, Chief Public Relations Officer, NFR stated in a press release.
Extension of special train services
The services of train no. 07046 (Secunderabad-Dibrugarh) Special will be extended from July 3 till 31, every Monday for five trips from Secunderabad to reach Dibrugarh. Similarly, train no. 07047 (Dibrugarh-Secunderabad) Special will extend its services from July 3 to August 3, every Thursday for another five trips from Dibrugarh to Secunderabad. During its both way journey the special trains will run via Simaluguri, Dimapur, Lumding, Goalpara Town, Alipuduar, New Jaipaiguri, Rampurhat, Kharagpur, Bhubaneswar, Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada to arrive at its destination.
The services of train no. 09525 (Okha-Naharlagun) Summer Special will be extended from July 4 till August 29, for nine trips leaving every Tuesday from Okha for Naharlagun. Similarly, train no. 07047 (Naharlagun- Okha) Summer Special will extend its services from July 8 to September 2, for another nine leaving Naharlagun every Saturday to reach Okha. The trains will run via Harmuti, Rangpara North, Rangiya, New Bongaigaon, Kokrajhar, New Coochbehar, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar, Begusarai, Chhapra, Varanasi, Prayagraj Jn, Gwalior, Ahmedabad, Jamnagar and Dwarka stations during its both way journey to arrive at its destination.
Train no. 08047 (Santragachi-Guwahati) Festival Weekly Special will extend its services to run on every Friday from July 7 till July 28 for another four trips. Similarly, train no. 08048 (Guwahati-Santragachi) Festival Weekly Special will be extending its services from Guwahati to Santragachi for another four trips on every Saturday from July 8 to 29. Both the trains will run via Goalpara Town, New Bongaigaon, New Jalpaiguri, Kishanganj, Malda Town and Barddhaman to reach its destination.
