Maligaon, May 24 (MExN): Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has announced the operation of an additional pair of Summer Special train between Anand Vihar Terminal and Jogbani. This service will run for eight trips in each direction. Also the periodicity and services of one pair of special train no. 07046/07047 (Charlapalli-Naharlagun-Charlapalli) has been extended for another eight trips each in both directions.
Special train no. 04074 (Anand Vihar Terminal-Jogbani) is currently operating and departs from Anand Vihar Terminal at 23:55 hours on every Friday from May 23 to July 11 and reached Jogbani at 07:30 hours on Sunday. In the return direction, train no. 04073 (Jogbani-Anand Vihar Terminal) will depart from Jogbani at 09:30 hours on every Sunday from May 25 to July 13 to reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 16:00 hours on Monday. The train will run via Ghaziabad, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Varanasi Jn., Ballia, Chhapra Jn., Barauni Jn., Khagaria Jn., Katihar Jn., Forbesganj etc. stations during its both directions. The train will run consisting of 20 coaches.
Another, train No. 07046 (Charlapalli-Naharlagun) weekly special has been extended to run from June 7 till July 26 and train no 07047 (Naharlagun-Charlapalli) weekly special has been extended to run from June 10 till July 29. These trains will operate with the existing schedule of service, timings, composition and stoppages.
“The details of routes, stoppages and timings of these trains are available at IRCTC website and social media platforms of NF Railway. Passengers are requested to verify the details before undertaking their train journeys,” Kapinjal Kishore Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer, NFR stated in a press release.
