NFR to operate New Tinsukia-Bangalore Cantonment weekly special train 

Extends Dibrugarh – SMVT Bengaluru weekly services

Guwahati, July 5 (MExN): The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) will be launching a weekly special train between New Tinsukia – Bangalore Cantonment – New Tinsukia for four trips in both directions from July 9 to August 2. 

An official release informed that the Special train (No. 02252) will depart from New Tinsukia at 9AM on all Saturdays from July 9 to reach Bangalore Cantonment at 8:15PM every Monday. 
On its returned journey (train No 02251), the train will depart from Bangalore Cantonment at 10:15 hours AM on all Tuesdays from July 12 till August 2. It will reach New Tinsukia at 10:30 PM on every Thursday. 

The special train will consist of 20 coaches- 2 Second Class Luggage Coach, 8 General Seating, 1 AC Three Tier and 9 Sleeper Class coaches.

Meanwhile, to clear the extra rush of passengers, running of the special train between Dibrugarh – SMVT Bengaluru – Dibrugarh will continue for another two trips from July 19 to 29.

Train No. 02986 (Dibrugarh – SMVT Bengaluru Special), will depart from Dibrugarh at 7:30AM on all Tuesdays from July 19 till July 26, to reach SMVT Bengaluru at 815 PM every Thursday. 

From Bengaluru, Train No. 02987 will depart at 10:15 AM on all Fridays from July 22 till July 29 to reach Dibrugarh at 11:30 PM on every Sundays. The special train has consist of 20 coaches: 2 Generator cum Luggage Brake Van, 8 AC Three Tier and 10 Sleeper Class coaches.
