
MALIGAON, JULY 8 (MExN): To accommodate the increased passenger footfall during the Shravani Mela, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has announced the operation of three pairs of special trains between Dibrugarh–Deoghar, Katihar–Deoghar, and Katihar–Manihari.
According to a press release, special train no. 05926 (Dibrugarh–Deoghar) will depart from Dibrugarh at 09:40 AM from July 10 to August 9, 2025, on every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday, reaching Deoghar at 10:25 PM the next day.
The return service, train no. 05925 (Deoghar–Dibrugarh), will depart from Deoghar at 9:55 PM from July 11 to August 10, on every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, reaching Dibrugarh at 8:30 AM on the third day. Both trains will run for 23 trips each.
Special train no. 05716 (Katihar–Deoghar) will leave Katihar at 2:20 PM from July 10 to August 7, every Thursday, reaching Deoghar at 4:15 AM the next day.
The return train, 05715 (Deoghar–Katihar), will depart from Deoghar at 5:45AM from July 11 to August 8, every Friday, and reach Katihar at 9:20PM on the same day. These trains will run for five trips each.
Meanwhile, special train no. 07540 (Katihar–Manihari) will run daily from July 1 to 31, departing Katihar at 8:30AM and reaching Manihari at 9:30PM the same day. The return service, train no. 07539 (Manihari–Katihar), will depart Manihari at 5AM hours from July 2 to August 1 and reach Katihar at on the same day. Both trains will operate for 31 trips.
