Kohima : Pleased by the international recognition bestowed on it, Nagaland Hotels Limited Chairman Tiameren today said that the expansion work at Hotel Japfu, Kohima would take place soon. Briefing this to media persons, Tiameren affirmed that the expansion was necessitated to meet the growing demands of visitors.
Tiameren along with other 2 officials returned from Geneva recently after receiving a Gold Medal for Excellence in Business Practice for Japfu Hotel from the Foundation for Excellence in Business Practice, Geneva.
With this award, Hotel Japfu, Kohima becomes a Charter Member of the Foundation for Excellence in Business Practice.
The foundation is interested to hold a session in Kohima, the chairman informed.
Tiameren said that all possible efforts would be undertaken so that the Hotel attains national and international standards. Emphasizing on music being a part of attraction in many hotels, the Chairman said Hotel Japfu was intending to introduce Music Channel.
Initially, it would take place on Saturday and Sunday and local artistes and upcoming bands would be invited to the show. Hotel Japfu is situated at PR Hill. Current service available includes Cable TV, Room service, Laundry Service, car parking, running hot and cold Water, Intercom, STD and Local Call facility, a Mini Shopping complex and a stand-by generator. Besides, it serves Indian, Chinese, continental and local cuisine.
It also has conference hall with a capacity of 100 people.
