NHIDCL training for semi skilled operators concludes

Dimapur, September 23 (MExN): The 15-day Employment Oriented Training and Skill Development of Semi Skilled Operators organised by National Highways Infrastructure and Development Corporation Limited, PMU-Dimapur (NHIDCL), with co-ordination of Construction Industry Development Council, New Delhi concluded on September 23.

During the valedictory function held at Patkai Christian College, DC Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan who also distributed certificates to the participants shared his experiences with the participants. He said that no one should consider himself as a perfect mechanic, operator or the electrician as there is always a possibility of learning. He therefore encouraged everyone to make value addition whenever opportunity arises. He also congratulated all the participants and wished them a bright future.

Executive Director (P), Regional Office, NHIDCL, Kohima, MS Deol, while giving vote of thanks also said that everybody should be updated with the knowledge as there is lot of competition in each field, a DIPR report stated.

Earlier, General Manager (p), NHIDCL, PMU-Dimapur, Narendra Kumar, gave the welcome address.

The training programme was attended by 30 participants, 15 each from EPC Contractors of Dimapur-Kohima road and Dimapur Bypass road.

Most of the participants were the operators of heavy earth moving machine, paver, JCB and batching plants, along with electricians, mechanics and plumbers, the report stated.
