
DIMAPUR, JULY 16 (MExN): The Nagaland In Service Doctors' Association (NIDA) today issued a statement with regard to the absence of Medical Officer (MO) at Shamator CHC. A press note from the NIDA General Secretary, Dr John Kemp and Secretary, Dr Ahu Sekhose said that the association has “examined the matter with the department whereby it is confirmed that the doctor was transferred to Shamator CHC from Pangsha PHC vide an order dated December 21, 2018. “However, since his relieving Medical Officer was on study leave and also on the request of the public of Pangsha, Dr Sentitemsu was retained back in Pangsha PHC by the department,” the NIDA stated. The NIDA informed that the department is in the process of posting a Medical Officer to Shamator CHC “on priority.”
