DIMAPUR, JUNE 9 (DIPR): As received order from the Additional District Magistrate, Sivasagar, Assam, Night Curfew has been reinforced from 6:00pm to 6:00am in the areas of Assam side bordering Nagaland and thereby prohibiting movement of any person, group of persons and vehicular traffic in the 5 KM belt in Assam side of Sivasagar district bordering Nagaland. However, Security Personnel and officials on duty have been exempted from the purview of this prohibitory order. The prohibitory order which came into force on May 19 will remain in force for a period of 60 (sixty) days.
