DIMAPUR, JANUARY 3: Dimapur police have recovered nine dead bodies from a stream, in an area known as “Pachas Pura,” between Shikovi village and Chumukedima, here on January 3. Police informed that the bodies were found covered in plastic sheets, and are suspected to be of men. Members of the public, on discovering the scene, informed the police at around 3:30pm, Friday. Police further stated that the bodies were found decomposed beyond recognition, placed one on top of the other. The police were still at the spot till the filing of this report.
