NIOS office opens at Tuensang

Tuensang, Sept 14 (MExN): The National Institute of Open Schooling office opened near Government Higher Secondary School, Tuensang.

Inaugurating the office, MLA P. Chuba Chang urged the gathering to extend fullest co-operation to this institute adding that the institute was a blessing in-disguised to the people of Tuensang in particular as Tuensang is having the largest number of school drop out in the state.

These drop outs will get another privilege to continue their studies and can become useful citizen, he said. 

MLA Chang, who is also parliamentary secretary Art and Culture, Economic and statistical adviced the teachers to play a role model in motivating the pupils and to be more sincere and dutiful.

Chuba also called upon the students to inculcate discipline, obedient and dutiful, which were fast eroding in the society.
This was stated in a release issued by the GHSS, Tuensang principal Wonthungo Tsopoe.
