DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 12 (MExN): The 43rd annual meet of Niuland Area Sports Association was concluded at P Vizheto Tuccu village on November 10. Qhehezu Tuccu, Collective Leader, GPRN/NSCN (IM) graced the inaugural function as chief guest and declared the week long meet open on November 5. Atovi Zhimomi, former advisor, Dimapur Municipal Council who graced the closing ceremony as guest of honor gave away the prizes to the winners. P. Vizheto Tuccu village team lifted the 43rd Hovishe Memorial Football Trophy defeating Hovishe village in the final. K Hetoi village finished third. Khitohe village defeated Hokuto village to bag the men's 2nd Henito Chishi Memorial Volleyball Trophy while Hezulho women team retained the women's title downing Hokuto team in the final. In 4th Nitovi Memorial Badminton Trophy, Hokuto village emerged victorious against Hevikhe to lift the men's title and Yeveto team won the top honours of women's event while P. Vizheto girls settled for second spot. Henito village team was judged as the best disciplined team.
