KOHIMA, APRIL 28 (MExN): The Committee on Environment and Climate Change of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly has scheduled a spot verification of three rivers in Kohima on May 1, the Assembly Secretariat announced Monday.
The inspection will cover the Dzavurü, Vürieü, and Sanuoru rivers, according to a press release issued by Secretary-in-Charge Khrüohitüonuo Rio. The decision was taken during the Committee’s introductory meeting held on April 24 under the chairmanship of Achumbemo Kikon, MLA and Chairperson of the Committee on Environment and Climate Change. All members of the Committee have been requested to join the scheduled verification visit.
