DIMAPUR, MARCH 19 (MExN): The Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) Secretariat today informed that it received only one nomination for the post of Speaker till the last date and time for filing of nomination papers. “Sharingain Longkumer, Member of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly filed his nomination for the post of Speaker on March 18, 2023. His candidature was proposed by Temjen Imna Along, Minister and seconded by Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, Advisor,” a press release from the NLA Secretariat informed. It further stated that no withdrawals were also made till the expiry of the date and time for withdrawals.
