NLSUC celebrates annual freshers’ social

Dimapur, October 2 (MExN): The Nagaland Students’ Union Chandigarh (NLSUC) celebrated its 2nd annual gathering cum freshers’ social on September 28 at Rodem House, Vikas Nagar, Nayagaon, Chandigarh under the theme, ‘Rooted Together for Unity.’
NLSUC in a press release stated that Vivek Atray, IAS (Retd) and renowned motivational speaker, gracing the function as chief guest said, “The true goal in life is happiness. Life is not about marks but it’s about making a mark.”
The inaugural session was followed by an extravaganza nite, where different items including songs, dances and cultural presentation which showcased Naga cultural wear. The second session also witnessed the crowning of the 2nd NLSUC Mister & Miss Fresher 2019. Meshenti Tep and Hikili Sumi were crowned Mister & Miss Fresher respectively.
