Dimapur, March 3 (MExN): Naga Mothers’ Association (NMA) has strongly condemned the shooting of a young girl at Naga Bazar Colony on the March 1, by unidentified gunmen. "Such senseless and ruthless act, targeting an innocent girl has no place in the Naga society and cannot be accepted by the Naga mothers", said the NMA Secretary, Lochumbeni Humtsoe in a press release.
NMA called upon every Naga to value human lives, and stated that such criminal activities should be condemned by every right thinking citizens. NMA further appealed to the law enforcing agencies to keep vigil in and around the capital so that such incidents do not occur again and also appealed to the concerned authorities to arrest the perpetrators and punish in consonance with the law.
