Dimapur, September 21 (MExN): The recent defection of two NNC activists to “NNC (NA)” is “not a strange thing but a normal nature of such persons for easy money,” according to a note, appended as from NNC, publicity wing, received here today. Which NNC group it was, was not identified in the note. “The NNC have to state on defection matter that V Khehoto Zhimomi and rankless Tokugha Zhimomi who used to defect every now and then joining so called NNC (NA) is not a strange thing but a normal nature of such persons for easy money,” the NNC note explained.
According to the note “These habitual defectors are a headache and a burden but in reality because of these two habitual defectors, the built up relationship between the NNC and the FGN (Brig Shinngu) was hampered but it is very good that these two defectors joining the banished Kiumukam and Hozheto (an unknown person in the NNC set up) so called NNC (NA).”
Stating that the “very burden of NNC is very much lessen now,” the note asserted that V Khehoto Zhimomi was “badly charged” on September 14 ”because of dishonesty in money matter” and “defected to the unrecognized few persons of so called NNC (NA).” The note added that “it is never ninety but two habitual defectors and few henchmen, that all.” “The NNC have to clarify once again to all concerned that the NNC is NNC .There is no prefix or suffix in this matter. Therefore, NNC (Nagi) should not be mentioned again. This must be clear to all,” the note added.
